Culver City Addition

To revamp a dilapidated home with good bones, this remodel updated the floor plan and brought a new mid-century modern flair.

When the client purchased this 1950’s Los Angeles ranch style home from the original owner, they saw the potential where others did not. Interior walls were removed to create a more open and light-filled living, dining, and kitchen area. The client’s dream of an “atomic ranch” aesthetic welcomed mid-century modern pops of color, warm minimalism, and a classic California cool. An addition brought extra space to the primary suite, ceilings in the living space and bedroom were vaulted, and this house was born anew.
